Carolina Fintech Hub: Generation Blockchain Challenge


Our Generation Blockchain Challenge has been a huge success! Through our first training, we had 68 participants divided among 29 teams and a total of 31 proposals submitted. We have now qualified 10 teams. Stay tuned as we present each team! Watch live = 


First up- Onit Network, which is focused on the healthcare and pharmaceutical industries and ways in which blockchain technology can make these industries more efficient, cost effective and create a more secure environment within in the prescription process.


Introducing EnCrypt Estate and their idea of using blockchain in the real estate industry. Benefits include ease of transactions between buyers and sellers, automatic updates to records when transactions occur and on demand property assessment


Next up- Versity, who have developed a decentralized platform that allows individuals to validate, store, and share their student records with employers and educational institutions


GenesisKYC is up next, a blockchain program consisting of procedures to assess and monitor customer risk and a legal requirement to comply with Anti-Money Laundering laws and decrease the risk of unethical activities that come with screening customers


Onit Network is focused on the healthcare and pharmaceutical industries and ways in which blockchain technology can make these industries more efficient, cost effective and create a more secure environment within in the prescription process


RECTrader focuses on using a blockchain based platform to disrupt and improve the current trading process of renewable energy certificates (RECs), a tradable commodity that guarantees the cleanliness of an energy source
