On Tuesday, Dec 5th Carolina Fintech Hub members, Davidson College students and local fintech enthusiasts met at The Hub for a networking meet and greet. This networking event offered guests food/cocktails, and Q&A session with our charismatic, enthusiastic and often eloquent chairman and City Councilman, Tariq Bokhari. Bokhari shared the vision and purpose of the Carolina Fintech Hub, as well as, invited guests to participate in an upcoming hackathon to be hosted on the Davidson Campus. Guests were able to mingle in then newly renovated space called “The Hub” that will house a mix of Davidson computer software and IT students as well as local professionals.
